Gallic Wars season has returned! Brownsville, NY's finest lyricist Stones is back with the brand new video for his singleSystem Bumpin/Hello Good Morning Remix. Directed by Mazi-O [of Gallic Wars Entertainment/D.O.H.H Squad], the video firmly announces the arrival of a dynamic new voice in the rap game.

A product of one of the roughest neighborhoods in New York, Brownsville-bred David Blake, better known as Stones has risen from a chaotic environment infested with drugs, prostitution and high murder rates to become not a statistic but a shining example of hard work and perseverance.

While not the ideal environment for an impressionable child to grow up in, the 'hood Stones describes as "a place you see things you would've swore only happened in the movies," prepared him for his future as a chronicler of ghetto misfortune and triumph.

Described by his peers as the "laid back" type, Stones kept himself out of trouble while keeping on objective eye on the melange of street activity and personalities that surrounded him. "My dude Smiles always told me I'm like a mystery because of the way I analyze things but let few people get close enough to actually analyze me, I guess that's because I was taught from a young age how to move militant".

It was this stealth-like discipline and observant nature that set him on his path. Stones witnessed the success of his cousin Kenyatta Blake, otherwise known as Buckshot, the front-man of legendary group Black Moon and CEO of Duck Down Records. Greatly influenced by hip hop's mid-90s 'golden era', Stones studied from the masters, "I use to just sit down and listen to Wu-Tang all day, especially Meth to study how they would put words together."

It was his cousin however that kept him rooted in the reality of the craft, "Buck let me know it was real because I use to think everyone on the television were some kind of super human's beamed down from the sky [laughs] but, he was someone I actually saw in the flesh often and saw on TV too so, I realized it was possible for a regular nigga to make it in the game."

Educated to the rap game and grounded in reality, Stones is ready to show the world what he's made of.
